Where is the study conducted?
The study will be conducted in various locations in the United States, Europe and Australia.
How will the investigational drug be taken?
The drug will be taken orally (by mouth) once per day.
What side effects should I expect?
Common side effects are headache, dizziness, mouth ulcers, skin rash caused by direct contact of the skin with a substance, constipation, diarrhea, and a reduction in white blood cell counts.
Has the investigational drug been tested before?
The investigational drug has been studied in other inflammatory diseases, including ulcerative colitis and abnormal liver function.
Is there any cost for me to participate?
There is no cost to you or your insurance provider for participating in the trial. If you qualify for the trial, you may be reimbursed for your travel expenses.

You’re free to withdraw from the study at any time. If and when you sign up, your participation is completely voluntary.
How long will the study take place?
The study will last up to 60 weeks.
If pre-qualified, what can I expect on my first visit to the study center?
You will undergo tests and assessments, answer questionnaires, and record instances of difficulty in swallowing in an eDiary [electronic diary] to determine if you are eligible to take part in this study.
What is the importance of clinical studies for EoE?
The aim of current treatments is to reduce pain and inflammation. The available treatments may improve symptoms for some people, but they may have unacceptable side effects, be difficult to stick to, or not work well for others. Therefore, there is a need to develop and find new treatments for people with EoE through clinical studies.
Do I need health insurance?
